Laura Jane Tappen Garrigan died Sunday, March 12, 1995 at her home in Brielle, New Jersey. She was 78.

Born in Edison, she lived in New Brunswick and Trenton before moving to Brielle in 1991.

From 1941 to 1952, she was secretary to the assistant treasurer of Personal Products, a division of Johnson & Johnson in Milltown, where she inventd nickel packages of tissues. She was an office manage for personal Products at the Johnson & Johnson Joint Hospital Building Fund in New Brunswick from 1955 to 1960.

She was office manager for John Quattrone Insurance in Trenton from 1960 to 1967.

Mrs. Garrigan was a communicant of St. Catherine's/St. Margaret's R.C. Church in Spring Lake and a former communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel in West Trenton.

Her husband Joseph E., died in 1984.

Surviving are a daughter Judy E McRee of San Francisco; a sister, Grace Howarth of Cross Lake, Minnesota; and a stepgrandson.

Servies will be 8 a.m. Thursday, March 16th, from the O'Brien Funeral Home, Route 35 at New Bedford Road, Wall, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at St. Margaret's Church, Spring Lake. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Trenton.
