Robert Joseph Wimberg, 53, of 3105 Springfield Drive, died at noon Saturday at Veterans Hospital. He was a native of Louisville, a Navy veteran of World War II, a self-employed carpenter and a member of the American Legion Post 220. Survivors include two sons, Robert J. Jr. and William A. Wimberg; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Rowe and Miss Susan A. Wimberg, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Helen Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Highway, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. The family will be at Ratterman's 4832 Cane Run Road, after 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
