Mrs. Quarlieter died Wenesday, March 30 at a Crookston hospital after an extended illness. She was 72.

Mrs. Quarlieter was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1877. She moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schilling, to Dunnington, Indiana, when she was two.

She was married in 1903 at Dunnington and in 1925 she and her husband and children moved to a farm near Fertile where se was until her death.

Survivors include her husband, her daughters, Mrs. Ashton Russell, Mrs. Joseph Gullekson of Fertile, Mrs. Floyd Newman of Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Loren Welch of Waterloo, Iowa, Mrs. Jaines Smith of Perry, Iowa, Irene Quarlieter of Fertile and a son John of Fertile.

Four sisters surviving are Mrs. John Kult of Coon Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Mary M. Brown and Mrs Anna Scott of Lafayette, Indiana, and Mrs. Catherine Metzinger of St. Joseph, MO, and a brother William Schilling of Fowler, Indiana.
