Rubye Mae Hatmaker, 85 of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away April 11, 2012 at the Arbors at Marietta.
She was born Oct. 11, 1926 in Lake City, TN a daughter of the late William T. and Beulah Lindsey Leach.
She was a registered nurse for 20 years, working at Memorial Hospital in Niagara Falls, New York She was a member of the Baptist Temple in Parkersburg and arranged church services for 19 years at Parkland Place where she lived.
Rubye is survived by a son, Alan Hatmaker (Marcia) of Parkersburg, West Virginia, a daughter, Patricia Ann Wilson (Fred) of Ottowa, Ontario Canada; one sister, Marie Anderson of TN; five grandchildren, Saraid Wilson, Erin Wilson (J.L.), Elisa Lutz (Jason), Jena Hatmaker, Alaina Hatmaker; and two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Lutz, and Evan Lutz.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hatmaker in 1977; and one brother, John Thomas Leach.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City, TN.
Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, West Virginia and Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City are assisting the family with local arrangements.
