Brockelman, landing in New York City, August 22, 1864. Married Dorothea Witt in Scott County, Iowa on December 17, 1868. She died January 8, 1879. Children: Lena, Annie, and Katie. Married Wilhelmina (Minnie) Petersen in Crawford County, Iowa on June 9, 1880. Children: Marie, Edith, Henry, Alma, and George
