Age 81 of New Lebanaon, passed away Friday, Jan 4, 2002. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Frederick Caron on Jan 4, 1957; brothers Joseph Short & infant brother Billy Short; sister Golden Couch. Wilda is survived by 5 sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen & Sharlene of Lehigh, UT, James & Kay Caron of Clarks Grove, MN., Duane Caron of Liberty, OH, Daniel & Thea Caron of Senecaville, OH, and Lee & Carole Caron of Lewisburg, OH; daughter and son-in-law Marsha & Timothy Cassell of Saratoga, CA; 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law Everett & Donna Short of Orlando, FL, Alberta & Tribue Smith of Greenfield, OH, Jacquline Roberts of Ft. Worth, TX; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
She was retired from the Jefferson Twp School District after 22 years of service, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Eaton.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Jan 8, 2002 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 220 Wayne Trace, Eaton, OH with President Keith Adams presiding, burial will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery. Boots' family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 West Main Street, New Lebanon, and Tueday from 12 Noon until the time of service at the church. Contributions if desired may be made to the American Cancer Assoc or the Alzheimers Assoc in memory of Wilda.
