Under Washington at Valley Forge. In civil life he was a mason.

Aged 90 (born c1760).
Son of Joseph and Sarah Palmer Kingsley; husband to Eunice Williams, married 1782.
His children except Betsey, were baptized at Ellington, Connecticut in 1808

5 sons and 5 daughters were: Betsey, Nancy, Sophia, Jason Williams, Joseph, Elihu Marvin, Eunice, Clarissa Harlowe (wife of Henry Colton of Hartford), Alpheus, and Simon Lathrop.
