Albert 6, Effa Albert 4, Corey A. Albert 1, Sarah Albert 75. He filed for a Civil War veteran's pension in Humboldt County on June 28, 1902 and received application No. 1,287,320 and certificate No. 1,051,910. Emma filed for a widow's pension April 17, 1900 and received application No. 889,722 and certificate No. 667,810. J. W. Albert, a pioneer of this state and a veteran of the Civil War, died at the Eureka home of his daughter, Mrs. George Meller, Tuesday morning. Deceased was a Native of Cleveland, Ohio, aged 72 years.
