Ecuadorian footballer. He played as a striker, and is considered the best player in the history of Ecuador, and to the FIFA one of the top 20 South American footballers of the twentieth century. In 1959 he joined the football team Ecuador. He played for clubs Everest of Ecuador (1953 to 1959), Peñarol of Montevideo (1960 to 1970) and Barcelona SC of Ecuador (1971 to 1972), scoring 451 goals in his career. He was also known by the nickname "magic head" since have scored plenty of goals nodding.
