He played for clubs Everest of Ecuador (1953 to 1959), Peñarol of Montevideo (1960 to 1970) and Barcelona SC of Ecuador (1971 to 1972), scoring 451 goals in his career. He was also known by the nickname "magic head" since have scored plenty of goals nodding.
