He was born April 8, 1895 in the town of Birnamwood, the son of the late Paul and Minnie (Bublitz) Reissmann.
In 1926 Paul was united in marriage to Martell St. Thomas in Wittenberg. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four sons, Ervin, Birnamwood, Raymond, South Carolina, Louis, Merrill and Elmer, Menasha; three daughters, Marjorie (Lloyd) Hinz, Merrill, Dorothy Hogg, Madison and Bernice (Ralph) Lang, Milwaukee; grandchildren; and 10 siblings, Toshner, Amanda Milbauer, Herbert (Hazel) Reissmann, Fred Reissmann, William (Louise) Reissmann, Walter Reissmann, Arnold Reissmann, Martha Kolbe, Lydia Berglund and Helena Behn.
Funeral services were held August 3, 1955 at Kopitzke Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Interment was in Forest Cemetery, Birnamwood.
