Oliver Hartung "Doc" Harrison, 65, of 14th Street, Chattanooga, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was a textile worker for Standard-Coosa-Thatcher. Survivors include his wife, Idella Harrison, Chattanooga; five daughters, Barbara McBee, Linda Frizzell, and Jeanette Underwood, all of Chattanooga, Imogene Brandon, Chickamauga, Ga., and Lynette Wingo, Ringgold, Ga., two sons, Billy Joe Harrison, Texas, and Jerry Harrison, Michigan; two sisters, Stella Proctor, Woodville, Ala. and Loetta Vaughn, Arkansas; four brothers, Ed Harrison, Trenton, Ga., Bud Harrison, Rossville, Sonny Harrison, Colorado, and Herschel Harrison, California; nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m. CST today in Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Rayford Fricks and the Rev. John Meyers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at Rainsville Funeral Home, Rainsville, Ala.
