Robert Camille BAKER
March 25, 1922 ~ April 18, 2009

After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Bob passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Fremont, graduated from Lincoln High School and lived his entire life in North Seattle, the last 54 years in his home in Ballard. Bob drove bus for Metro Transit for 32 years and has been retired for 32 years. The joys of his life were his family and a lifelong love of fishing. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Dorothy, in 1973, and second wife, Phoebe, in 1985. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Patsy, six children: Diane Sutton (Morris), Joanne Tisch, Marianne Baker (Paul Hickenbottom), Bob (Nancy), Jim (Barb), Trisha Voigt (Brian), three stepsons, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held April 22 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church 5815 15th Ave NW in Ballard at 10:30 a.m. Remembrances can be made to Group Health Hospice, Puget Soundkeeper Alliance, or a charity of your choice.
