Anthony "Nino" Calabrese, 84, of Round Lake passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2000 at his home.

    He was a member of the Holy Family Episcopal Church of Lake Villa for 20 years. Anthony was also a member of the Sequoit Masonic Lodge of Antioch as well as Past Patron of the Betsy Ross Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. He proudly served his country during World War II serving with the United States Navy.

    He leaves his wife of 60 years, Rosella (nee Cosentino); daughter, Mary (George) Faoro of Lake Villa; son, Anthony (Katherine) Calabrese, Jr. of Buddapest, Hungary; grandchildren, Michele (William) Newby, Renee(Anthony) Boubin, Gary (Stephanie) Wren, Vincent Calabrese and Nina Calabrese; great grandchildren, Brianna and Rebecca Boubin, Christopher and Bethany Newby and Kaila and Emma Wren.

    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 27 at the Holy Family Episcopal Church, 25290 W. Lehmann BL, Lake Villa, IL, 60046 with the Reverend Molly Williams officiating. Interment will be private.
    Family and friends may visit from 3 to 9 PM on Tuesday at the STRANGFUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL, 60030. For info: 847-223-8122.
