He was born February 19, 1911 in the town of Norrie, the son of the late Alex and Mary (King) Stoltz.
On October 29, 1938 Roman was united in marriage to Angeline Ostrowski in Hatley. She preceded him in death on January 14, 1994.
Survivors include one son, Richard Stoltz, Schofield; four daughters, Henrietta "Hankie" Stoltz, Eland, Marie (LeRoy) Tryba, Hatley, Eileen (David) Milanowski, Hatley and Janet Cieslewicz, Eland; four brothers, Edward (Ardis) Stoltz, Hatley, Peter (Theresa) Stoltz, Eland, Joe (Lillian) Stoltz, Eland and Ernest (Beverly) Stoltz, Wittenberg; two sisters, Regina Barwick and Verna Stoltz, both of Milwaukee.
In addition to his wife and parents, Roman was preceded in death by three brothers, Phillip, Leo and Edward and two sisters, Martha and Dorothy.
Funeral services were held June 13, 1994 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. The Rev. Thomas Abraham officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
