He was born December 29, 1884 in the town of Hull, Portage County, the son of the late Thomas and Helen (Helmenek) Ostrowski.
In 1909 Anton was united in marriage to Verna Gorski in the town of Hull. She preceded him in death in March, 1915. In 1916 he married Catherine Blaske in Fancher, Portage County. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include six children, Agnes (Frank) Bertling, Milwaukee, Verna (Adolph) Blaske, South Beloit, IL, Angeline (Roman) Stoltz, Eland, Emil Ostrowski, William Ostrowski and Edward Ostrowski, all of Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Mike Ostrowski, Stevens Point.
In addition to his first wife and parents, Anton was preceded in death by four children in infancy.
Funeral services were held April 17, 1958 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley.
