Mrs. R A Murray died Sunday A.M. barring a few years was a lifetime resident of this county. Following an illness of several weeks duration Mrs. R A Murray died Sunday morning about 9 o'clock at her home in this city.
Mrs. Murray was, prior to he marriage Miss Laura Bullard and was a native of Dooly County having spent her life, with an exception of a few years in this county. She was born in 1868 and was married in early womanhood to Mr. R. A. Murray who has been long identified with the work of education in Dooly. In this work as well as all other in which her husband has been engaged she was an active and interested helper. She was a faithful companion and a loving devoted mother. If there were characteristics in her life that took prominence over all others it was her loyalty to those she loved. The kind and beautiful attentions shown her by her friends and neighbors during her last days were tribute to the life she lived as a friend and neighbor. In her quiet and unpretentious way she found pleasure in lending a hand where help was needed. She posessed the true spirit of neighborliness, always responsive to the needs of those about her.
