Ralph H. Jr, 76, of Arcadia, FL, date of death 11/10/00, date of birth 8/12/24. Birthplace: Miami, FL, but Mr. Bearden was raised in Fort Myers, FL. He moved to Arcadia, FL, in 1989 from Punta Gorda, FL.
Mr. Bearden was a retired lawyer and C.P.A. in Miami, and then moved to Punta Gorda and was the builder and owner of Alligator Park in Punta Gorda, FL. He was a member of the Arbitration Assn.; Past President of the Rotary Club and was a Paul Harris member; Frier and honorary member of the Ponce De Leon Conquistadors; member and chairman of the board of South Miami Hospital; treasurer and first vice-president of the Family Motor Coach Assn; and a life member of the Elks in Punta Gorda.
Mr. Bearden attended high school in Fort Myers, FL and graduated from University of Miami in 1957 with a law degree. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Arcadia, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Carolyn; three sons, Steven of Colorado, David of Zephyrhills, FL, and Ralph Bearden of Hillsville, VA; and one sister Beverly Bearden Thrasher of Norfolk, VA.
