WARNER ROBINS - Paul Glenn Humer, 89, of Warner Robins, Ga., died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006. He had been in failing for the last year. -Born August 14, 1916, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Norman S. and Minta E. (Bumbaugh) Humer. Raised in Rouzerville, he was a graduate of Washington Township High School. Mr. Humer was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He retired as a warrant officer after a long career in the U.S. Air Force during which he served at a variety of posts in the United States and abroad. He was a member of the Warner Robins Church of Christ. Mr. Humer also was a 50-year Mason, having been a member of Warner Robins Tyrian Lodge and the Knights of Pythias, George Washington Lodge 487 in Waynesboro. He enjoying hunting, military history, travel and spending time with his fammily. -He is survived by his wife, Frances Humer; two sons, Norman D. Humer of Boston and David P. Humer of Dunwoody, Ga.; one daughter, Patricia A. Purdy of Bentonville, Ark.; one sister, Martha K. Lizer of the Shook Home, Chambersburg; and three granddaughters. In addition to his parents, Mr. Humer was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois (Detweiler) Humer; three brothers, Edgar Humer, Samuel Humer and Robert Woodrow Humer; and two infant sisters. -Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chape2 l of McCullough Funeral Home, Warner Robins. Burial will be in Andersonville National Cemetery
