Ann G. Klingberg, 83, of Stone Lake, Wis., formerly of Elgin, passed away into the loving hands of the Lord on Friday, Sept. 15, 2000 at Capeside Cove Good Samaritan Home in Siren, Wis.
    She was born Nov. 12, 1916 in Mandan, N.D., the daughter of Michael and Anna Breiner.
    She was a school teacher in North Dakota before moving to Elgin. She had been a resident of Elgin for over 50 years before moving to Stone Lake in 1996. She married Herbert Axel Klingberg on June 16, 1942 in St. Charles, Mo.
    Survivors include three children,Sandra (Terry) Baker of Pineville, La., Sonja (Max) Hintler of Stone Lake, Wis. and Scott (Lisa) Klingberg of Elgin; five grandsons, Michael, Thomas, Zachery, Drew and Troy; a great-granddaughter, Cassandra Michelle; three sisters, Mabel Bass of Salem, Ore., Eileen Bodker of Tacoma, Ore. and Ruth Balch of Walla Walla, Wash.; three brothers, Michael Breiner of Portland, Ore., Javan (Bud) Breiner of Oshkosh, Wis. and Claude Breiner of Walla Walla, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 4, 1994; a sister; and four brothers.
    Private family graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7 in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
    Memorial Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday in the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin.
