Anderson, Sylvia E. (Nee Sobieski) Of Milwaukee. Was born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at the age of 90 years.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert "Bob" A. Anderson, a longstanding Alderman of the 13th Ward in Milwaukee.
Loving mother of Suzanne Slaby R.N., Kathleen Amrhein R.N., Dr. Dennis (Diane Matel PhD) Anderson, and John Anderson. Proud grandmother of Andrew Slaby, Jr., Jodi Slaby, Dr. John (Kat R.N.) Slaby, Andrea Slaby, Peter Amrhein R.N. (Kari R.N.), Major Paul (Christine) Amrhein, Desi J.D., Denise R.N., and Dustin Matel-Anderson. Loving sister of Lenard (Betty) Sobieski, Mary Ann Huber and Norbert (Barbara) Sobieski. Survived by great-grandchildren, Olivia, Christopher, Celia, Meredith and Maxwell Amrhein. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service Friday, April 23, 2010, at 7PM, at the Funeral Home. Visitation Friday from 5PM until time of Service. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to Meadowmere and Mitchell Manor, especially Joy and Nevenka LPN. If desired, memorials to the local Wisconsin Alzheimer's Association , or to the local Disabled American Veterans would be appreciated. Sylvia was a dedicated partner in life and politics.
