She was born April 14th, 1920 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of John and Regina (Meyer) Beckermann. They preceded her in death.
She married Leo H. Herzog January 6th, 1941. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Michael and James Herzog, both of Weingarten, John Herzog of Ste. Genevieve; two daughters and sons in law, Lee and Tom Borowiak of Ste. Genevieve, Lynn and James Cathey of Overland Park, KS; two sisters, Frieda Meyer Kissel of Port Charlotte, FL, Helen "Susie" McBride of Spanish Lake; 12 grandchildren, Steve, Kathy and Robert "Bobby" McKlin, Alison and Ashley Borowiak, Michael, Brian and Angie Herzog, James "J. C." and Jeff Cathey, James "Jim, Jr." and Jason Herzog; three great grandchildren, Samantha McKlin, Colin and Cody Herzog; 31 nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Robert "Bob" Beckermann, Glennon "Buck" Beckermann and John "Jack" Beckermann also preceded her in death.
She was a member of the V. F. W. Auxiliary.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, October 2nd at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
Funeral services for 85-year-old Kathryn L. "Becky" Herzog of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 3rd, 2005 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve.
Burial will follow at the Valle Spring Cemetery.
