MARCUS GASSNER

Marcus R. Gassner, 84, formerly of 1118 Horicon St., Mayville, died Sunday, June 7, 1992, at Clearview Nursing Home, Juneau.

He was born Oct. 6, 1907, in Sauk County, a son of Frank and Katherine Breckle Gassner. On April 26, 1927, he married Ottilia C. Neumeyer in LeRoy.

Mr. Gassner formerly was employed with Jacobsen Lumber Co, Knowles, and Knowles Produce & Trading Co. He retired from Mayville Metal Products. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, LeRoy.

Survivors include one daughter, Jeanette Stipanovic and her husband Danny of Mayville; two grandsons, Mark and his wife Jane, and James; and three sisters, Mary Weyer and her husband Lawrence of Lomira, Irma Weyer and her husband Alois of Fond du Lac, and Rosina Korth and her husband Fred of West Bend.

Preceding him in death were his wife in 1968; five brothers, Henry, Alois, Joseph, Peter and Leo; and one sister, Lorene.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's Cemetery, LeRoy. The Rev. Robert Berghammer will officiate. Burial will follow.

There will be no visitation.
