Ronald Louis Tarlip , 36, of Longmont went home to the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006.
Ronnie was born Oct. 24, 1970, in San Diego to Linda and Ronald Tarlip. He attended and graduated from Salida High School in Colorado in 1989. He married Jacqueline Jacobi on Oct. 22, 1999, and became a loving father to Jamie and Justin.
He was superintendent for Humboldt International Services and a member of Foothills Southern Baptist Church in Lyons and the Longmont Moose Lodge. Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and all family and friend activities.
Surviving are his wife, Jackie, of Longmont; two sons, Jamie and Justin of Longmont; her mother, Linda, and ?Pop? (Hurley Swan) of Astoria, Ore.; three brothers, Doug and his wife Dawn of Elk, Wash., Les and his wife Dana of Fort Collins, and Clif and his wife Kris of Avondale, Ariz.; and two sisters, Cindy Napier and her husband Wayne of Spokane, Wash., and Kim Hawes and her husband Terry of Lowry City, Mo.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Foothills Southern Baptist Church, 12650 N. Foothills Highway, Lyons, with the Rev. Tom Formby officiating. A luncheon and fellowship will follow the service. Howe Mortuary of Longmont was entrusted with cremation arrangements.
The family requests no flowers be sent. A memorial fund has been set up for the family, and contributions are appreciated through Foothills Southern Baptist Church, P.O. Box 505, Lyons 80540.
