Mildred L. Rohlfing, 95, New Haven, died Thursday, February 15, 2001, at New Haven Care Center, New Haven.

She was born July 1 1906 at St. Louis, the daughter of Arnold Baumgaertner and wife Anna, nee Brandt.

On November 29, 1933, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Rohlfing at Drake.

Mrs. Rohlfing was a homemaker, a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Senate Grove and the Women's Society of Christian Service, Senate Grove.

Mrs. Rohlfing was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gilbert Rohlfing on December 24, 1969; and two sons, Gilbert Rohlfing Jr. and Richard Rohlfing.

She is survived by one son, Reuben Rohlfing and wife Judy, New Haven; four granddaughters, Margaret Blair and husband Albert, of Mims, FL, Marilyn Rohlfing, New Haven, Mary Anderson and husband Chris, Hermann and Sheri Hasan and husband Iyhab, of Waukee, IA; three grandsons, Rick Rohlfing and wife Tricia, Robin Rohlfing and wife Amy, all of Washington, MO and Chad Rohlfing, New Haven; four great-grandchildren, Courtney Anderson, Cody McWay, Joshua Rohlfing and Zachary Hasan; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 19, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Senate Grove with Rev. Marilyn Smith officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Memorials to Immanuel United Methodist Church are preferred.

The Rohlfing family was served by Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
