EMILY
It seems like only yesterday
A baby girl came our way.
She's very ill we were told
So we took her home to love and hold.
We didn't care that she couldn't talk
Or even that she'd never walk.
Her charming smile and loving arms
Were all we needed to love her so.
So at the end of most every day,
We'd look at her and then we'll pray
Please God if you can
Just a little more time with our Emily Anne.
You gave us six years
We'll cherish them always.
So sleep little Angel,
We know-You know-
We loved you so!
