Frank Linder, Sr., 86, Navajo area homesteader, was born Feb. 17, 1881, at Marathon, Wisc. He married Cecilie Uebellacker there on Aug. 17, 1904. They lived in Wisconsin until 1909 when they came to Montana and took up a homestead in the Navajo community south of Flaxville.
They farmed there until their retirement several years ago, when they moved to Flaxville. Mrs. Linder died in June, 1964.
He is survived by two sons, Arnold of Vida, and Edward of Flaxville; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Arion of Whitetail, Mrs. Gene Shriner and Mrs. Al Kattanick, both of Phoenix, Ariz.
Services in St. Louis Catholic Church in Flaxville. Burial in Flaxville cemetery.
