Oswego native Charles H. Hellinger, 49, a resident of 217 Halsey Road, Mexico, died Wednesday, Nov. 29 at his home. A native of Oswego, he was a life resident of the Mexico area. He graduated from Mexico Academy. Mr. Hellinger was employed in the maintenance department of New Venture Gear for 28 years. He was a member of Mexico Academy Alumni Association. Surviving are his wife, Grace Hellinger; two daughters, Karen Hellinger of Oswego and Rebecca Hellinger of Rochester; three sons, Joseph and Daniel Hellinger, both of Mexico, and William Hellinger of Fulton; his father and stepmother, Raymond and Jean Hellinger of Mexico; his mother, Leollia Quackenbush of Mexico; a sister, Patricia Hellinger of Syracuse; two brothers, David Hellinger of Pulaski and Arthur Hellinger of Mattydale; his paternal grandmother, Hazel Hellinger of Mexico; and five grandchildren.
