MISSION - Maria Julia E. Villarreal, age 70, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Mission Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Villarreal was born December 2, 1939 in Mission, TX. She is the daughter of the late Ascencion and the late Justa(Medellin)Escalante.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Rafael Villarreal.
Survivors include: Six Daughters: Beatrice(Lee)Reyes, Norma Linda(Mariano Jr.)Fonseca, Nora Lee(Greg)Montemayor, Anna Maria Villarreal, Veronica(Joe)Arredondo, Mari CruZ(Eloy)Ybarra. Eight Sons: Rafael Jr.(Laurie+)Villarreal, Jose Antonio(Belinda)Villarreal, Jesus(Alejandra)Villarreal, Arturo(Diana)Villarreal, Luis(Lydia)Villarreal, Oscar(Chriselda)Villarreal, Juan Villarreal, Nicolas(Denise)Villarreal.

Five Sisters: Micaela Escalante, Rosalinda(Jose+)Lopez, Francisca(Emerico+)Garcia, Herminia+(Arturo Jr.+)Villegas, Maria Margarita(Ramiro+)Villegas.
Two Brothers: Pedro(Paula)Escalante and Arturo(Donna)Garces.
41 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

Viewing for family & friends will be held Saturday Feb. 13, 2010, Sunday Feb. 14, 2010, and Monday Feb. 15, 2010 from 1pm till 9pm with a rosary each night at 7 pm at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel. Holy mass will be held Tuesday Feb. 16, 2010 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission Texas. Burial to follow at RGV State Veterans Cemetery in Mission TX. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission, TX.
