Anna Saint

Anna Saint, 94, of Charles City, died Monday, February 6, 2006, at the Salsbury Baptist Home in Charles City.

Private funeral services for Anna Saint were held Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Pastor Rick Fessel of Temple Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

Anna Ellen Schuellor Saint was born November 24, 1911, near Centralia, Kan., the daughter of Otto and Annie (Tabor) Schueller. She attended school at Eldora. In April of 1933 (ed.--see article below for marriage date of Sept 23, 1933), she was united in marriage to Leland Saint at Eldora. Anna worked at various jobs most of her life, the last position being that of a live-in caretaker of the elderly until her 82nd birthday. She was affiliated with the General Association of Regular Baptists. Her interests included gardening, sewing, reading and baking.

Living family members include a daughter. . .; three grandchildren,. . .; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Delbert Saint; five sisters; and six brothers.

The Hauser Funeral Home, (641) 228-2323, www.hauserfh.com, in Charles City, was in charge of arrangements.

In Thursday's obituary for Anna Ellen (Schueller) Saint, the spelling of her maiden name was incorrect in the information provided to the Press. She was the daughter of Otto and Annie (Tabor) Schueller.
