Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 1989 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee with Rev. James Thornton officiating. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements and burial was at Sharon Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, C. P. Sensing of Pearl; 2 sons, Donnie Lee Sanford of Collins and Darin Warren of Pearl; mother, Mrs. W.C. (Edna) Thornton of Lake Providence, La.; a brother, Charles Ray Thornton of Jackson; sister, Mrs. A.J. (Voncile) Johnson of Lake Providence, La.
