Vernon Richard Saint was born February 23, 1920, in Whitten and died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Saint in Whitten, January 14, 1926, aged 4 years, 10 months and 21 days. He leaves to mourn his loss, his parents, 6 brothers and two sisters, Leland, Lyle, Erwin, Garth, Charley, Woodrow, Arlene and Doris. A rose bud had been plucked from the home only to burst into full bloom in that happy home awaiting him where there will be no sin, no sorrow nor death to mar his happy disposition.
Funeral services were Friday at 2 p.m. at the Christian chruch, Rev. Edwin Hignett officiating. Interment was in the Benson cemetery. Relatives from a distance attending were the Elwyn Gould family and Mr. and Mrs. Danie Moore of Marshalltown, Mr. Dick Johnson and Mr. James Gould of Liscomb.
