Farmer Near Mentor Dies of Heart Attack
Ole L Bakkken, 64, died Wednesday at his home in Terrebone township, north of Mentor, the victim of a sudden heart attack.
He was born in Norway April 15, 1872 and came to America with his parents 54 years ago. He lived in Polk County until four years ago when he moved to Terrebonne township in Red Lake County.
He was married to Louise Mosher, February 2 1932 and is survived by his widow, a brother Emil of St Hilaire and two sisters, Mrs A L Nelson of Mentor and Mrs Ole Johnson in Canada.
Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church at Mentor this afternoon with the Rev Skogerboe officiating. Pallbearers were J T Olson, Jack Remmick, J E Forsythe, Robert Quesnell, Horner Houle and Oscar Farder
