Funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John’s United church of Christ, Tulare, with the Rev. Paul Opsahl officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Alvina Middenborf was born Sept. 9, 1887, at New Albin, Iowa, where she later married Martin Roeber Feb. 7, 1912. They farmed near Tulare, in 1971 she returned to Iowa and for the past three years had resided in the nursing home.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Forest (Virginia) Sires, New Albin; one brother, Elmer Middenborf, Caledonia, Minn.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and three sisters.
Coleman-Thelen Funeral Home, Redfield, announced the arrangements.
