Rites Held Friday for George Kraft, 69, of Galatia Area
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Herthel Funeral Home in Hoisington and later at the Galatia Lutheran Church for George Kraft, 69, a farmer of the Galatia area, who died last Tuesday evening at the Hoisington hospital. His death followed a heart attack he suffered at his home.
Born Dec. 20, 1892 south of Gorham, he was united in marriage with the former Eva Ehrlich, of Russell, in 1917. In addition to his widow, he is survived by a son, Raymond, of Galatia; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Funk, of Hoisington; four brothers, Dave and Emanuel, of Russell, Carl, of Dodge City, and Ed, of Wichita, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Steinert, of Hoisington.
