Jeannette Grosvenor, Descendants of Nathan E. Grosvenor and Laura Fuller 1794-1973 (with his ancestry) (Chesterland, OH: Baker Printing Co., 1973), p. 29. "Nathan was a cabinet maker. He had just reached his majority when his mother bought the property in Mansfield that included the cabinet shop. At the age of 22 years, he put the Shop into his own name."

The foundation was still evident in 1971 when a visit to Mansfield was made.
