Cora, E.Becker, 82, IOOF Home, Greensburg, died this morning in the Decatur County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, after an illness of six weeks.
She was born Jan. 26, 1906 in Oldenburg, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Lamping Tebbe. She was a member of the St.Louis Catholic Church, Batesville. She married Eugene Becker in the Holy Family Catholic Church, Oldenburg, April 29, 1930, and he preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1986. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Don (Jeanie) Hermesch, Greensburg; one son, Kenneth Becker, Indianapolis; one daughter-in-law, Juanita Drockelman, Cincinnati; three sisters, Mrs. Roman (Clara) Scheidler, Greensburg, Mrs. Arthur (Rita) Gartenman, Batesville, and Mrs. Anthony (Bernie) Buening, Cincinnati; two brothers, Leon Tebbe, Cincinnati,and Cleo Tebbe, Batesville; 11 grandchildren andsix great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Becker; three sisters and two brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Batesville.
Burial will be in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at the Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may go to the Jerry Becker Memorial Fund, or to Batesville Rescue 10.
