He had a soft heart for anyone in trouble, which is what got him stabbed to death trying to protect and help an ex-girlfriend who was being harrassed and stalked by another ex-boyfriend. His killer got off scott free claiming self defense. Trevor had a pool cue, his killer had a butcher knife, none of his family concider this as justified or fair.
Trevor was married to Roxanne Wright in 1979 and divorced in approximately 1986. He is survived by his two children Mylinda Sue Wright Whiteley, his son David Morgan Whiteley II and two grandsons as well as parents David Morgan Whiteley and Phylla Sue Vanderpool Whiteley, and three sisters, Suzanne Whiteley Gilreath Furguson, Michelle Whiteley Phillips, and Elizabeth Whiteley Cantu and eight nieces and nephews.
