Mr. Beltz was born July 14, 1914, at rural Ramona and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired farmer-rancher and a member of the United Methodist Church and Kansas Lodge 307 AM&FM, both of Herington. He served as clerk of the Lyons Township board for 12 years and Ramona Elevator board for many years.
An infant son, Robert, preceeded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie I. of the home; 2 daughters; a son; a brother; a sister, six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Herington, the Rev. Charles Gardner officicating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery with a Masonic Rite.
