MRS. V.E. HAYNES, 31, DIED EARLY TODAY; FUNERAL ON SUNDAY
Mrs. Mattie Miosga Haynes, 31, the wife of Victor E. Haynes, died at her home on South Third Street in this city this morning at 3 o'clock of a kidney infection after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Haynes, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miosga of this city was born in Victoria July 29, 1897, and was married to Mr. Haynes who is associated with the Hudson Essex Motor Company here on June 30, 1918. She was a young woman of many lovely traits and her untimely death is deeply deplored. Surviving besides her parents and husband, are 6-year-old son, Victor E. Haynes, Jr., and four sisters, Mrs. Emma Vick of Hermleigh, Tex., Mrs. Frances Floyd of Mooringsport. La., Mrs. Annie Schroeder of Galveston and Miss Ella Miosga of this city.
The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. L. Eischenberg at Our Lad of Lourdes Church Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. Requiem High Mass with be celebrated and burial will be made in the Catholic Cemetery.
