KRUSE, David Michael โ€“ On Sunday, August 14, 1994, as a result of an aeroplane accident, in his 24th year. A Cessna 185 plane crashed into Noganosh Lake, about 20 kilometres east of Britt, Ontario, a small community off Highway 69 about 90 kilometres south of Sudbury, Ontario.

David Kruse, of Kitchener, a commercial pilot and a graduate of Sault College, Sault Ste. Marie, graduating in May, 1994 and was captain of the volleyball team and voted the most valuable player.

Cherished son of Manfred Kruse and the former Elizabeth Monigl, beloved brother of Claudia Kruse, all of Kitchener. Will be sadly missed by his maternal grandmother, Elisabeth Monigl of Kitchener and his aunts and uncles. Wilbert and Clare Gunsch of Kitchener and Karl-Heinz and Resi Kruse of Germany and cousins, Steven and Carol Gunsch and their daughter Danielle of Kitchener and Daniel and Kelly Gunsch of Calgary and his special friend, Glennis Walsh of Sault Ste. Marie.

Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel, 81 Benton at Church St., after 7 p.m. this evening (Wednesday) and will continue until Friday, August 19 when prayers will be offered from the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament RC Church at 10 a.m. Father Ed Sheridan officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

Parish vigil for the deceased Thursday at 8:30 p.m.

Donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 303 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener, N2E 2N6 or to the David M. Kruse Memorial Scholarship Fund Aviation Technology Flight Program, c/o Sault College, Sault Ste. Marie, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
