She married Louis Alexander Gratz in 1865. They were the parents of Frances Henrietta "Fannie" (Gratz) Mann, Laura Bearden (Gratz) Leigh, Elizabeth Bearden "Bessie" (Gratz) Kurtz, Louis Alexander Gratz Jr. and Hugh Turney Gratz.
Her husband became the mayor of North Knoxville, which at the time was a separate municipality, but is now part of Knoxville.
