1900 Census - Lavaca, Texas, United States - Ferdinand Resek 69 Bohemia ** Agnes Resek Wife 70 Bohemia ** Anna Resek Daughter 20 Bohemia (Added note on Anna: the census state she was born July 1880 which is the same date as what researchers are stating is Frantiska (Recek) Siegel daughter. The issue I have with this is all records, Anna's marriage license and children's birth records list her name as Anna Recek, not Anna Siegel. However, on her death certificate, it does list her mother as Frances Recek and father as Joseph Siegl. She MAY be the granddaughter of Ferdinand and Agnes instead of the daughter. According to this census, Agnes had eight children, five living. This census also states that all three, Ferdinand, Agnes and Anna migrated to America in 1881. If Anna was a Siegel, she probably would have migrated with her parents and siblings in 1882 since she was a baby. Or, we could have this Anna confused with another since they all named their children the same name. You can decide for yourself.)
