Mrs. Henry Krause, 89, of Vergas, died at St. Mary's hospita1 on Wednesday, March 27, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held today (Saturday) at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran church of Vergas with Rev. E, H. Martens officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Furey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will include Ronald, Rodney and John Hoffman, James Richter, Tom Trieglaff and Donald Krause.
Mrs. Krause was born at Elizabeth in January, 1879, and she was a life resident of the Vergas-Frazee area.
She was married to Henry Krause at Elizabeth on June 11, 1908. Mrs. Krause was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ann Norgren.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and also the ladies aid of that church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in October, 1953, and a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Esther) Hoffman.
