Peter Galli was an early Mormon pioneer, born in Bern Switzerland and immigrated to Midway Utah after joining the LDS Church. Many of the Swiss and German immigrants settled in Midway where Swiss Days are still celebrated each year.

He married Magdalena or Mary Haesler on 11 May 1830. He also married Martha Marie Stettler on 11 May 1830 and Anna Marie Schneider on 22 October 1864.

His trade was that of a cabinetmaker or carpenter. His family in Switzerland were dairy farmers so living in Midway it is presumed he also was in the dairy business. He helped build the early schools and churches in Midway, as well as the fortifications that were used to protect their families from the local indians.
