MRS. WILLIAM KORTEMEYER
Services for Mrs. William Kortemeyer, 60, of 335 Ivanhoe Rd., will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Edward's Catholic Church. There will be a Rosary service 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Kortemeyer died at 8:30 a.m. Friday at her home.
She was born Marguerite Nemmers Jan. 20, 1913, the daughter of L. D. and Anna Knippling Nemmers. She was married to William Kortemeyer June 6, 1935. in Waterloo. She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church and was employed as cashier in the Motor Vehicle Department of the Black Hawk County Treasurer's office until her retirement in August due to illness.
She is survived by her husband at home; two daughters, Judy at home, and Mrs. Ron Fliss, of 1113 Ora Dr.: one son. William, of Davenport; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Nemmers of 636 Home Park Blvd.; one brother. Francis, of 824 Wisner Dr.; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
