Mrs. Lewis C. Wesley
Mrs. Venita R. Wesley, 87, 120 West 23rd, died Thursday at Hutchinson Hospital after a long illness. Born Venita Rose Feb. 7, 1893, at Stafford, she was married to Lewis C. Wesley May 20, 1922, at Hutchinson. He died May 10, 1965.
She had been a resident of Hutchinson since 1917. She was a charter member of the Park Place Christian Church, founder of the Hutchinson Mother's Club and a member of Chapter EK of the PEO Sisterhood.
Survivors: son: James, 611 Adair Circle; daughters: Mrs Jean Wheelock, Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Ann Campbell, Holcomb; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Elliott Chapel, the Rev. William E. Dorman. Burial at the Stafford Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or to the American Cancer Society.
