Edna Lilienthal, 65, died Saturday, August 21, 1965, at her home in Durant, after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, at Frick Funeral Home in Durant. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.

Edna Gollnitz was born July 5, 1900, in Cedar County, the daughter of Louis and Meta (Arp) Gollnitz. She married Harvey Willie Lilienthal on February 4, 1922, in Davenport. the couple farmed in Scott County, until they retired to Durant in 1957.

Surviving are her husband, Harvey; four daughters, Bernice (Christ) Freese of Lowden, Lois (Dale) Burmeister of Muscatine, Marian Lilienthal of Davenport and Elaine (LaMoyne) Sorgenfry of Durant; three sons, Eldon Lilienthal of Tipton, Earl (Eleanor) Lilienthal of New Liberty, and Kenneth Lilienthal of Wilton; and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
