Rosemary Hellmann, nee Jasper, 79, Washington, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, in Washington.
Mrs. Hellmann was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Washington, the daughter of Louis Jasper and wife Marguerite, nee Roetheli.
She received her education from St. Francis Borgia High School.
She was united in marriage Aug. 21, 1948, to Joseph Hellmann in Washington.
Mrs. Hellmann was a member of the St. Francis Borgia Ladies Sodality, the Elks Auxiliary and St. Francis Borgia Church.
She was employed by Hazel.
Mrs. Hellmann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers-in-law, Ralph Kleekamp, Victor Hellmann and Leon Hellmann; one sister-in-law, Melba Hellmann; and her stepmother, Helen Brinkman.
She is survived by one son, Tommy Hellmann, Marthasville; one daughter, Mary Jo Hellmann and husband Bryan McDonald, Washington; one brother, Ken Jasper and wife Ruth Ann, Labadie; two sisters, Arline Kleekamp and Dolores Struckhoff and husband Elmer, all of Washington; two sisters-in-law, Sue Hellmann and Mary Newbanks and husband Melvin, all of Washington; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
A funeral Mass was held Tuesday, Aug. 12, at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington, with the Rev. Greg Klump officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to Catholic Charities or CASA of Franklin County are preferred.
The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
