Husband of Eleanor.

Robert served in the US Navy during WWII as an LTC, and then he joined the FBI, where he worked for about 12 years. Later he worked for the Federal Maritime Commission. He was Director of the Gulf Coast Office District and West Coast Office, which both covered very extensive areas from Puerto Rico to Mexico and all in between - to the great lakes, and his West Coast Office covered the whole west coast all the way to Guam.

Bob was also involved with the Boy Scouts, as a Scout Master. He stayed involved with scouting all of his life. He taught young people all sort of interesting things like home repair skills, finger printing, meteorology, fire building and all sorts of merit badge skills.

Bob graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, near where he grew up. He also received his JD (Juris Doctoris, formerly LLB.)

Bob is listed in "Who's Who in Government", 1970 - 1976.

Bob had a wonderful sense of humor, was a much loved husband and father of three children, two boys and a daughter.

He was also a skilled craftsman in metalworking, woodworking, drafting and even in designing a variety objects.
