Wasilla resident, Jason Carl Covey, died July 3, 2010 in Wasilla.
Jason was born January 25, 1981 in Anchorage, AK.Jason married Lorna May on December 5, 2004. He was a family man with three daughters and anticipating the birth of a son in October.
Family wrote: "Jason had a good life growing up in Wasilla. He was so bright and loved his family dearly. He loved to play in the great outdoors with his bike, scooters, motorcycles, cars, boats and fourwheelers. He became a journeyman plumber by trade, but he was gifted with many skills. A genius with his computers and electronics, he liked to make things work. He played the guitar and could sing, and his latest favorite recreational activity was playing American Idol with his family. We all miss him terribly."
He had just returned to work at Slayden Plumbing and was so happy to be back.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vernon Fish; and cousin, Merle Fish.
He is survived by his wife,Lorna Covey; Daughters, Zoe Jane, Emma Marie, and Jaylee May; Parents, Carl and Karen Covey;Siblings, Bobby Doisher, Karla Douthit, Eli Doisher, Sara Haase, Aaron Doisher, Carmen Covey, and Cara Covey; Grandparents, Emma Fish, John Covey, Peggy Eveland; Uncles, Mark Fish, Alan Fish, Gordon Fish, Paul Covey, John Covey Jr.; Aunts, Karen Peterson, Kathy Sleen, and Candace Robbecke; Nephews, Damien, Bobby, Derek Dylan Doisher, Donovan and Jonathan Douthit; Nieces, Elissa, Victoria and Stormy Doisher, Crystal and Gabrielle Good, and Kameo Douthit; Cousins, Joshua Covey, Alex, Randall, Valorie, and Thomas Fish, April Berry, and Amber Frost.
